Having spent the first 50 years of my 54 years in Michigan, the task was easy. I immediately flashed back to when we owned a condominium in the “up north” town of Glen Arbor, Michigan.
In the article, I talk about climbing 40-story sand dunes, scouring the woods for morel mushrooms, small town holiday-weekend parades, and quiet walks with my bride of 25 years in the north Michigan national forests.

Delta Vacations Luxury Lifestyle Collection – Day #4 of our Delta Vacations Luxury Lifestyle Collection trip to Tortuga Bay Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic brought with it a bit of sadness. This was our last day!
In spite of this, we had a wonderful day in store. We started out in the Six Senses Spa, had lunch at Playa Blanco on one of the most beautiful beaches ever, enjoyed a 90 minutes segway tour on the beach and around the property, and ended our day with a delightful dinner at La Yola located in the marina right on the ocean.
This luxury Delta Vacations trip has certainly been a wonderful experience.

Delta Vacations Luxury Lifestyle Collection – Day #3 of our Delta Vacations Luxury Lifestyle Collection trip to Tortuga Bay Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic found us enjoying pristine white sand beaches, and afternoon scuba diving lessons.
One of the great advantages of being a baby boomer is that we can travel during the shoulder seasons and not fight large crowds on the beach.
As you will see in our video, we nearly had the beach to ourselves.
This further added to the excitement of our scuba diving lessons as we had the instructor/owner all to ourselves. This allowed us much more time underwater!
