Ireland: Guided Land Tours
Guided land tours, in my humble opinion, are the best way to visit Ireland.
You can make a quick visit to Dublin and Belfast aboard a cruise ship.
However, if you really want to drink in the culture, perhaps with a pint of Guinness, you really need to explore Ireland by land.
With that in mind, let’s take a peek at some of the best options.

- Abercrombie & Kent: 5-star small group.
- Custom Private Tours: If you prefer a custom private tour of Ireland, we can make that happen with a self-drive tour, a chauffeured-driver tour, and even a train tour.

GRAND PRISMATIC SPRINGS IN YELLOWSTONE
America’s National Parks
America’s National Parks are certain to be hot destinations for 2021.
International travel to the U.S. is still down. Therefore, this will be the year to visit our National Parks without all of the international crowds.
And if you have never visited Yellowstone, for example, you simply must.
Carol and I visited Yellowstone National Park in 2013, and we were completely unprepared for the natural beauty we would witness.
And because we visited in May, there were baby animals everywhere.

France River Cruise: Rhone River
A river cruise on the Rhone River in France is a culinary and historical delight.
To date, Carol and I have enjoyed eight European river cruises.
We’ve sampled most of the fabled European rivers. And we’ve had the privilege of experiencing these rivers aboard a variety of different cruise lines.
We are often asked, “what is your favorite river in Europe for a river cruise”.
Boy, that is a difficult question to answer.
My photo of Café Van Gogh (left) and Van Gogh’s painting on the right.
However, if you twist my arm and require an answer, I will choose the Rhône River in France’s renowned Burgundy and Provence regions.
The area is world-renowned for its wine and culinary offerings. Further, the river is dotted with cities rich in history, cobblestone streets, and architecture that is truly a sight to behold.
And when you get to the city of Arles, in the south of France, you will begin to understand why many of Europe’s finest artists made their homes in the area.
Carol and I have sailed the Rhône River twice, and we would both gleefully do it again.
