New Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental Unveiled
Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental – Luxury baby boomer travelers will one day be flying aboard the new Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental.
At 250 ft (76 m) long, with a wingspan of 224 ft (68.5 m), the 747-8 Intercontinental is the largest passenger airplane Boeing has ever built and can seat 467 passengers in a 3-class configuration.
This airplane will carry more people, more cargo, further, faster, more economically than any airplane in its class.” Elizabeth Lund, 747 Vice President and Deputy Program Manager
I like the faster part.
Imagine what would happen to the world of travel if you could get from the west coast to Hawaii in half the time! Imagine getting to Europe in half the time.
This plane isn’t making such claims. I’m just doing a little dreaming.
Would you travel more if it took you 50% less time to get there?
