FLASH: Cuba Cruise Itineraries for 2017
Cuba Cruises Available for 2017
If you’d like to experience Cuba before McDonald’s and Starbucks make their inevitable assault, 2017 just might be the year to make a move.
While many cruise lines have been impatiently waiting for Cuban approval, in a surprise move, Cuba approved quite a number of cruise lines in recent weeks as they’re uncertain what a Trump presidency might mean to their promising travel trade.
While many of the cruise lines have simply added a one or two-night Havana stay to one of their existing itineraries, there are a couple of respected cruise lines that have rather extensive Cuba journeys for those who prefer a Cuban deep-dive, over a light sampler.

From a price perspective, prices are going to start at $779 for an entry-level stateroom on Royal Caribbean, where the seven-night Caribbean cruises aboard Regent Seven Seas Mariner featuring Havana, Cuba start at $2,999 per person and include airfare, unlimited shore excursions, WiFi, fine wine and spirits, along with a host of other amenities.
And if you’re looking for a deep-dive with one of the more adventurous itineraries, Star Clippers sailings start at $1,320/person, where the Ponant luxury yacht sailing will appeal more to the luxe crowd and will be above that.
