We Visit Scottsdale’s Old Town Farmers’ Market
Old Town Farmers’ Market ~ Scottsdale, Arizona – When we travel, we absolutely LOVE to visit the local farmers’ markets.
Farmers’ markets are a wonderful place for breakfast or lunch, a great place to visit with locals, and a wonderful place to purchase fresh organic foods for picnic lunches, breads, wine, cheeses, and fresh fruit while you’re traveling.
In our visit to Scottsdale’s Old Town Farmers’ Market, we found fresh baked goods, jams (David loves Arizona orange marmalade), hand-made pasta (pictured right), almost every conceivable vegetable (Arizona growers create produce in winter), Arizona wines, home-made tamales (YUM), cheeses, olive oils, fresh flown-in fish, artisan chocolates, hot home-made donuts (they were cleaned out in an hour), fresh Arizona citrus, and much, much, more.
The Old Town Farmers’ Market occurs Saturday’s from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., and directions can be found at the link just above.
