Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa ~ Miami Beach, Florida – While many thousands of college-age kids were in Miami Beach’s South Beach, doing what college-age kids do, we were quietly luxuriating in the Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa, just a few miles up the road in the North Beach area of Miami Beach.
Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach, the nation’s first luxury boutique hotel dedicated to wellness, opened November 2008 and features luxury hotel suites and condominium residences, and a 70,000-square-foot Spa and Wellness facility.
The project is built on a six-acre oceanfront site formerly the historic Carillon Hotel on Miami Beach, which has been restored and preserved as part of the development.
Travel + Leisure ranked Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach on its list of Top 10 Destination Spas as voted on by readers for the 2010 World’s Best Awards. We enjoyed perfect 80º weather every day (with very low humidity), an unbelievable 70,000 square-foot spa, a beautiful white-sand beach, dramatic ocean-views from our suite, and close proximity to all that is Miami Beach.
A most wonderful hotel & spa in a most wonderful place. You gotta go there!
