Day #3 – Whale Watching the Alaskan Inside Passage Cruise With Dolphin Tours

Juneau, Alaska ~ Norwegian Cruise Lines – One of the major highlights of any baby boomer’s cruise up the Inside Passage of Alaska is the prospect of laying your eyes on a humpback whale.

With slow and very limited Internet availability, I will have to keep this short, but here’s a sample of what I will have to share with you when we get back home.

Check out these humpbacks!

There were so many humpback whales in this particular pod that it was somewhat difficult to photograph through all the spray from the whale blows. Such a problem.

This is a such a great photo, especially since it’s so close! Did you use a zoom, or were the whales that close?

  I used a wide-angle zoom to capture these guys. They were close, but not as close as the photograph would seem. Thanks for the kind words. 😀
