U. S. Passport Card: What is it?
If you are a U.S. Citizen who frequently travels to Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, or Bermuda, you might consider getting a passport card in addition to your passport book.
Why? Because the passport card will fit conveniently in your wallet.
The U. S. Passport Card is a wallet-sized card that is used by travelers who travel by land or sea to Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Bermuda at land border crossings or sea ports-of-entry. The card is convenient and less expensive that a traditional passport.
However, the passport card cannot be used for international travel by air!
