Travel Photo: Buenos Aires Tango Dancers
Tango Dancing in Buenos Aires, Argentina

When visiting Buenos Aires, besides enjoying a juicy Argentinian steak, you must also take in one of the many tango performances available in this fabulous city.
Here’s three of the many photographs I was able to snag while enjoying a front row table at Rojo Tango, a popular tango dinner theater in Buenos Aires. We enjoyed this evening, and all of our Buenos Aires experiences from our hosts, Kensington Tours.
If I’m completely honest with you, I (David) was kind of bitchy about going to this show. While I greatly enjoy the arts, I just wasn’t all that excited about an evening of tango dancing.
Boy! Was I wrong! :O
Not only did we enjoy a fabulous locally-sourced meal, but the show afterwards was out of this world. And, what I didn’t expect was the quality of the music. Absolutely fabulous. A must-see when you’re in Buenos Aires.
Listen, if you’re concerned about traveling to Europe, might I suggest Argentina? Buenos Aires is a fabulous city (called the Paris of S. America) AND the Argentinian wine country in Mendoza is a fairly short journey away.
Now that the Argentine people have voted out their crazy president and have a sharp new leader ( see 60-minutes story) I think Carol and I will definitely be putting Argentina back on our list of desired destinations. Our short two-day visit was NOT enough, and we want to also get over to Mendoza and sample our much-loved Argentinian Malbecs.
Travel Tip: the strong U.S. Dollar is at a 10-year high against the Argentinian Peso making travel to Buenos Aires wonderfully affordable!

Love it! The steak and wine & the fabulous shopping for leather goods as well
Shhhhhh. I didn’t tell Carol about the shopping for leather goods. You’re going to get me in trouble. :O
