Top 5 Global Adventure Destinations for Luxury Travelers in 2020

We’ve been sharing with you the findings in the recently released 2020 Virtuoso Luxe Report.

So far, we’ve shared the Top 6 Luxury Travel Trends for 2020 and the Top 5 Global Destinations for Luxury Travelers in 2020.

I predict that in a few short years we are going to see a big surge in adventure and expedition travel.

There already exists a readily available stable of companies offering adventure experience on land.  However, in the next five years, we are going to witness a record number of small expedition ships coming to market that will be able to take luxury travelers to remote destinations never before reachable.  And, passengers will experience these remote destinations in a floating luxury hotel.

As I shared with you back in July, companies are even putting small submarines on these new expedition ships so that passengers might be able to see the world from under the sea. For example, Seabourn recently announced a new custom submarine for its upcoming expedition ship, click here.

There is a lot of excitement in the travel industry as 80,000,000 baby boomer travelers are entering retirement with a huge number of them clamoring for exciting travel experiences.
