Rocky Mountaineer: The Rockies to the Red Rocks
The Experience
The Rockies to the Red Rocks route is a two-day train journey between Denver, Colorado, and Moab, Utah, with an overnight stay in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

The train travels only during the day and features oversized-windows, so guests do not miss a moment of the ever-changing landscapes.
Guests will enjoy the complete Rocky Mountaineer experience, including onboard storytelling, premium cuisine, compelling scenery, and social atmosphere in a custom-designed glass-dome coach.
Guests will travel in the SilverLeaf Service train coaches, where they will take in views through the oversized glass-dome windows from the comfort of the spacious, reclining seats.
The onboard culinary experience will feature cuisine and ingredients local to the Southwestern U.S., which will be complemented with beverage service. Meals are served at your seat in order to enjoy the scenery as you dine.
The Route
The Rockies to the Red Rocks route showcases scenic views unique to the Southwest United States as it travels between Colorado and Utah.
Between Denver and Glenwood Springs, guests wills journey alongside the Colorado River and through a series of canyons with steep, rugged rock walls.
The route between Glenwood Springs and Moab offers a variety of scenery, including mountain vistas, desert cliffs, and rock formations.
How to Book Rocky Mountaineer
There will be 8 different packages for the Rockies to the Red Rocks. Packages will start at $1,250/person for the 1-night/2-day package.
Further, 7 other packages offer pre/post-night stays, self-drive options for more exploration after the trip, and even guided motorcoach tours.
Until Rocky Mountaineer completes the pricing for all of these packages, you can reserve a spot for a $25 refundable deposit.
