Each spring, rental car companies massively reduce the price of one-way car rentals as they shift their inventories from busy winter southern states.

For example, National Car Rental has a deal in Florida where they are offering one-way rentals on an economy through full-size car for only $9.95/day.  That is a remarkably low price!

Here’s the catch:

• the vehicle must be rented from a participating location in Florida.
• the vehicle must ultimately be returned to participating locations outside of the Florida region.
• minimum one-day/maximum 21 day rental required.

During drive-out season, get a 3-week car rental for only $208, plus taxes!

Think about it, if you can figure one of these one-way rentals into your travel schedule, you can rent a full-size vehicle for three weeks for only $208! Heck, you could take a three-week road trip for only two hundred bucks!

While I’ve only highlighted National Car Rental in this article, there are similar deals from other rental car companies.  Also, you might check other southern states, like Arizona, that also get a large influx of winter vacationers.
