Friday Photo – The Grand Canyon
The Grand Canyon – I must confess, when I first stood at the edge of the Grand Canyon, I was so taken with the beauty of the place that a tear found its way down my cheek.
I shot this particular photograph towards the very end of the day, and the light was seemingly changing the color and drama of the canyon every second.
The shadows were moving in from the left, and the saturation of colors on the rocks to the right were a wonder to behold.
It’s hard to grasp the scale of this photograph, but the Colorado river, snaking through the left side of the photograph, is over one mile beneath my feet.
Every year millions of people come to Grand Canyon, a stunning and breathtaking place, for enjoying their vacations. There are two natural geological formations that I like to visit again and again one Luray Caverns and second one is The Grand Canyon.
A stunning and breathtaking place, It is really very beautiful place. Hope to visit someday of my life.
That is one heckuva shot, people. Did you HDR this one?
😀
Thanks Rob! Not a HDR, per se, but a pseudo-HDR using Dynamic Photo – HDR. It will take a single photograph and make a fairly nice HDR-looking photograph. Here’s a link to the product: https://www.mediachance.com/hdri/index.html
Thanks for the kind words! This is one of my favorite captures. :camera:
