Carefree, Arizona Farmers’ Market – This morning we made a trip to the Carefree Farmers’ Market in Carefree, Arizona.  Carefree abuts North Scottsdale, Arizona and is the place to be on Friday mornings for local organic produce.  Here, Carol is pictured with local citrus farmer Doug Roberts.

Earlier,  we were working on the travel itinerary for our upcoming trip to the Hawaiian Islands, and our plans include visits to two local Hawaiian farmers’ markets.

We find that a local farmers’ markets are a fantastic place to enjoy breakfast or lunch.  Furthermore, a farmers’ market is wonderful place to find local organic foods to enjoy for an in-room breakfast, lunch, or even picnic.

So, when traveling, make certain that you do a Google search for the local farmers’ market!
