Instagram – On October 6, 2010, the world of travel photography for baby boomers became a lot more fun.

You see, Instagram was launched on that date, and today more than 7 million people have shared more than 150 million photos with one another at a rate of 15 photos per second!

Instagram combines the nostalgia of the Polaroid camera, through the use of differing filters, and created a platform for you to share your fun travel photographs in an instant through their iPhone app.

I shot this photograph of Carol using Instagram, applied a filter to give it that 70s look, and in less than 30 seconds the photograph was shared with those who connect with me on Instagram.

Great fun.  Right?
