Oftentimes, when I’m out on a photo shoot, I never know what I will find on my camera when I get home.

Here, I was shooting one of Arizona’s famous sunsets when this Saguaro appeared in my lens as though praying.

See him?  Head bent forward, hands together as if praying?

This has become one of my most cherished photographs.

Moral to the story:  when shooting sunsets, look around for interesting subjects to silhouette against the colorful sky.
